Lion's Arch Merchant

One really stupid misspelling(and sometimes even pronunciation) is Lion's Arch. The most common one I see is "Loin's Arch." Amusing.

...you mean Silver Armour is actually Sliver Armour? I've read it as Silver for years, which is forgivable considering the icon [skill]Sliver Armor[/skill], it looks all silvery.

I always pronounced Aatxe as Axe-attack, Mursaat as Mer-sat, Krytan as Kretin and Cantha as Canthea.
Also every now and then i accidently call Shing Jea Island as Jing Shea :/
It peeves me off when Rurick refers to "Ascalonians" as "Ascalons"

usually pronounce it "ash-ee".
Anyway I've heard funny pronunciations of Kanaxai from "can-ax-ee" to "can-ex-ey".. It's correctly pronounced "Kahn-a-shey".
Also I had a guildie insist on pronouncing Riposte "ree-pawst".

I though Shing Jea was Shining Jea for the longest time.
I've also said "Sturgeon" (Like the fish) for Stygian. I'm not sure if this is right.

Always had a problem with aatxe.
But the main one where my pronunciation was off was Sousuke. Wasn't until about the 4th time I saw the cut scene where Jin's talking with him that I heard it was "sue - skay", and not "so - sooky".
Since he was somewhat of a girl/wimp, "so sooky" (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sook) had suited him - my partner & I had thought it was a deliberate pun by Anet. We still tend to call him sooky.

Re: Lion's Arch.
Not necessarily funny, but I've erroneously pronounced it as Lion's Arc since I'd first seen it. Can't seem to break the habit. :-\
